PESSEL, INVESTIGASI_Bencana banjir dan tanah longsor yang melanda Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan (Pessel) berberapa waktu lalu sampai saat ini masih menyisakan duka yang mendalam bagi masyarakat setempat.
Akibat dari bencana tersebut kerugian harta benda sangat banyak, tidak hanya itu, korban jiwa pun banyak akibat kejadian itu.
Banyak warga masyarakat yang kehilangan harta benda, tempat tinggal hancur akibat banjir dan tanah longsor yang mendera kabupaten tersebut.
Untuk meringankan beban bagi masyarakat yang tertimpa musibah itu, Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, dari Partai Persatuan Pembangunan, Armadi mengunjungi korban terdampak bencana tersebut di Nagari Gantiang Mudiak Selatan, Kecamatan Sutera, pada Sabtu (16/3/2024).
Dalam kunjungan tersebut, Ia juga memberikan bantuan berupa sembako untuk korban terdampak di beberapa titik terparah di Nagari Gantiang Mudiak Selatan.
“ Kita baru hari ini bisa sampai kesini untuk melihat saudara kita yang terkena musibah, semoga apa yang kita berikan ini bisa sedikit membantu meringankan beban saudara kita, ” ucapnya.
Selain ke Kecamatan Sutera, ia juga mendatangi warga yang terdampak di kecamatan Lengayang, Kecamatan Ranah Pesisir dan Kecamatan Linggo Sari Baganti.
Diakuinya, kondisi Pesisir Selatan saat ini sangat memprihatinkan akibat diterjang banjir bandang dan tanah longsor. Kondisi seperti ini bukan hanya tanggung jawab pemerintah saja tapi menjadi tanggung jawab kita bersama.
“ Ya, kondisi sekarang ini adalah tanggung jawab kita bersama baik kita di DPRD maupun Pemerintah daerah, Provinsi, Pusat sampai kepemerintahan terendah,”katanya.
Meskipun demikian, ia berharap kondisi ini bisa pulih secepatnya dan meminta kepada korban terdampak untuk bersabar karena selaku Anggota Dewan, dia siap memperjuangkan nasib korban dan akan dibahas didewan secepatnya.
Dikatakan nya kunjungan tersebut merupakan tinjauan lapangan kedewanan, dan kondisi yang ditemui dilapangan tersebut akan dibahas dalam rapat bersama dengan pemerintah.
“ Semoga saja bantuan yang kita berikan ini ini, walaupun tidak banyak tapi dapat sedikit membantu meringankan beban saudara kita yang terkena musibah,” pungkasnya.(Don)
