PADANG PARIAMAN, INVESTIGASI—Bupati Solok, Epyardi Asda, mengaku senang dan bangga diundang oleh alumni Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Nurul Yaqin di Ringan-Ringan, Pakandang, Kecamatan Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman, Minggu (14/4/2024). Ia senang dan bangga karena diberi kesempatan oleh Allah untuk hadir dalam halalbihalal itu bersama dengan guru-guru tarekat, syekh, guru ponpes, dan alumni ponpes tersebut.
“Sebagaimana sabda Rasulullah, manusia terbaik adalah mereka yang menyiarkan agama Allah di muka bumi ini. Saya yakin kita yang hadir di sini insyaallah termasuk di dalamnya,” tutur Epyardi.
Sebagai kepala daerah, kata Epyardi, ia berprinsip untuk mengabdikan sisa hidupnya kepada masyarakat di daerah yang ia pimpin. Hal itu seperti hadis Rasulullah bahwa sebaik-baiknya manusia ialah orang yang berguna bagi orang lain.
“Inilah cita-cita dalam hidup kami: mengabdikan diri (bagi masyarakat) untuk meraih rida Allah,” ujar Epyardi.
Setelah mengucapkan bermaaf-maafan dengan perserta halalbihalal tersebut, Epyardi menyerahkan bantuan Rp15 juta dan seratus helai kain sarung untuk Ponpes Nurul Yaqin. Epyardi memang punya perhatian dan kepedulian terhadap ponpes sebab ia punya ponpes pribadi di Kabupaten Solok. Karena itu, memberikan bantuan kepada ponpes bukan hal yang mengherankan yang dilakukan Epyardi.
Sebelum menghadiri acara tersebut, Epyardi bersama rombongan menziarahi makam Syekh Ali Imran Bin Hasan Tuanku Bagindo, Pendiri Ponpes Nurul Yaqin.
Adapun Bupati Padang Pariaman, Suhatri Bur, dalam halalbihalal tersebut mengatakan bahwa kehadirannya bersama Epyardi murni merupakan undangan dari Ketua Alumni Ponpes Nurul Yaqin ketika melaksanakan buka bersama guru-guru mengaji di Rumah Dinas Bupati Padang Pariaman pada Ramadan yang lalu.
“Saya juga berasal dari keturunan ahli tasawuf yang juga belajar di lingkungan syattariyah. Maka, saya tidak membeda-bedakan antara satu pondok pesantren dengan yang lainnya, jika ada ponpes yang terbengkalai, silakan beri tahu, maka kami siap membantu tiap tahun untuk menyelesaikan apa-apa yang terbengkalai,” tuturnya.
