AGAM, INVESTIGASI_Wajah-wajah sumringah dan penuh harap terlihat ketika Epyardi dan rombongan tiba di SMPN 1 IV Koto, Jorong Galudua, Nagari Koto Tuo, Kecamatan IV Koto, Kabupaten Agam, Kamis (16/5/2024). Mereka merupakan korban galodo (banjir bandang) yang terjadi beberapa hari yang lalu. Mereka berkumpul di sekolah tersebut setelah mendapatkan informasi bahwa Epyardi akan datang untuk menyalurkan bantuan.
Begitu Epyardi datang, mereka langsung mengadukan nasib mereka setelah rumah mereka rusak atau roboh dan harta benda hilang diterjang banjir bandang.
Epyardi menjelaskan bahwa bantuan tersebut merupakan bantuan Otewe Sumbar Peduli yang berasal dari perantau di Jakarta. Setelah banjir bandang melanda, Epyardi mencarikan bantuan untuk korban banjir, salah satunya menghubungi para perantau Sumbar di berbagai daerah.
“Bantuan ini dari salah satu perantau dari Agam. Nilai bantuannya senilai hampir Rp1 miliar berupa beras, telur, mi instan, sarden kaleng, selimut, sajadah, mukena, bantal, tikar, cangkul, dan kebutuhan lainnya,” ujar Epyardi kepada warga.
Di sana Epyardi memberikan bantuan kepada 66 warga. Data tersebut ia dapatkan dari koordinator warga yang mendata warga di sana yang terdampak banjir bandang. Dengan data yang jelas, ia memberikan bantuan langsung kepada korban tanpa perantara sehingga bantuan tepat sasaran.
“Semua warga yang terdampak akan diberi bantuan asalkan terdata,” ucapnya.
Rosa (52), salah satu korban banjir bandang, berterima kasih kepada Epyardi karena telah meringankan beban korban bencana tersebut. Menurutnya, bantuan yang diberikan Epyardi tersebut sangat membantu korban bencana, terutama makanan.
“Semoga juga dibantu dibangunkan rumah, sekolah, dan kedai-kedai warga di sekitar sekolah yang hancur. Semoga juga dicarikan solusi untuk warga yang lahan pertaniannya tertimbun material banjir,” tutur Rosa.
Rosa menyatakan bahwa Epyardi merupakan tokoh publik dan pejabat daerah pertama yang datang ke sana untuk memberikan korban bencana. Ia berharap tokoh-tokoh lain juga memberikan bantuan untuk meringankan beban warga.
Saat memberikan bantuan, Epyardi mengobrol dengan warga korban bencana. Mereka meluapkan harapan dan keluh kesah kepada Epyardi. Epyardi dikerubungi oleh ibu-ibu yang antusias menerima bantuan. Setelah mendapatkan bantuan, mereka berterima kasih dan menyalami Epyardi, serta meminta berfoto bersama dengan Bupati Solok itu.
Setelah memberikan bantuan di dua titik di Nagari Koto Tuo, Epyardi dan rombongan menuju Jorong Koto Baru, Nagari Kubang Putih, Kecamatan Banuhampu. Di sana tercatat lebih dari 30 warga terdampak banjir bandang.
Ismed (50), salah satu korban, berterima kasih atas bantuan yang diberikan Epyardi. Menurutnya, bantuan tersebut bermanfaat. Misalnya, cangkul berguna untuk mengolah kembali lahan pertanian yang hancur karena banjir bandang; bantal dan tikar dapat digunakan untuk tidur karena kasur dan bantal mereka basah dan kotor terkena banjir.
Warga lainnya, Dewi (46), bersyukur ada tokoh publik seperti Epyardi yang cepat memberikan bantuan kepada korban banjir setempat sebab belum ada tokoh publik yang datang membantu mereka.
“Kami juga membutuhkan peralatan dapur, pakaian sekolah, obat-obatan. Tolong juga dibantu warga yang rumahnya rusak. Di sini ada dua rumah hancur, enam rumah rusak berat, dan 30 rumah rusak ringan,” tuturnya.
Sebelum pamit, Epyardi berpesan kepada warga untuk tidak lupa salat karena Allah yang memberikan pertolongan.
Selanjutnya, Epyardi dan rombongan menuju Jorong Galuang, Nagari Sungai Pua, Kecamatan Sungai Pua. Di sana Epyardi melihat kondisi puluhan warga yang rumahnya hanyut diterjang banjir bandang. Untuk sementara, mereka tidur di SDN 05 Galuang.
Di sana Epyardi menenangkan korban bencana dengan mengatakan bahwa rumah warga yang hancur karena banjir akan dibangun kembali oleh pemerintah berdasarkan rapat dengan BNPB. Sementara itu, warga yang rumahnya rusak ringan akan diberi bantuan Rp15 juta, sedangkan warga yang rumahnya rusak berat akan diberi bantuan Rp30 juta.
Dalam kunjungan itu Epyardi menyalurkan bantuan dari PAN Peduli. Satu paket bantuan untuk satu keluarga bernilai lebih Rp1 juta.
“Dalam paket bantuan ini ada sajadah yang bagus.
Sengaja kami berikan sajadah yang bagus agar Bapak dan Ibu bersujud karena Allah yang mengatur segalanya. Berdoalah karena doa adalah senjata yang ampuh. Berdoalah semoga Allah menghilangkan bala ini,” tuturnya.
Titik terakhir yang dikunjungi Epyardi ialah Jorong Pagu-Pagu, Nagari Pandai Sikek, Kecamatan X Koto, Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Di sana sekitar 800 orang terdampak banjir bandang. Delapan orang di antaranya meninggal dunia dan dua luka-luka. Ada tujuh rumah hancur di sana.
Di sana Epyardi meninggalkan bantuan di Posko Otewe Sumbar Peduli. Ia berpesan kepada pengelola posko tersebut untuk menyalurkan bantuan kepada warga yang berhak menerima bantuan.
Di jorong tersebut Epyardi menyapa dan mengobrol dengan warga. Ia lalu makan bersama warga dengan makanan yang dimasak oleh warga di dapur umum. Rel
