PADANG, INVESTIGASI_Bakal calon wali kota dan wakil wali Kota Padang, Hendri Septa dan Hidayat mendapat dukungan penuh dari kader dan pendukung partai Gerindra untuk menghadapi Pilkada Padang 2024. DPC Gerindra Kota Padang beserta seluruh kader menyatakan siap bergerak bersama Pasangan yang dijuluki Padang Hebat ini.
Hal ini dinyatakan dalam pertemuan sekaligus silahturahmi Hendri Septa dan Hidayat bersama kader Partai Gerindra Kota Padang, Senin 19 Agustus 2024.
Pertemuan itu dipimpin Ketua DPC Partai Gerindra, Verry Mulyadi. Ia menyebutkan, Hidayat selaku kader Gerindra akan mendapatkan dukungan penuh dari seluruh anggota fraksi dan kader Gerindra
“Calon dari Gerindra berpasangan dengan Pak Hendri Septa. Kami siap mendukung penuh,” kata Verry, Senin 19 Agustus 2024.

Silahturahmi dan pertemuan ini berlangsung cair. Mereka menyatakan solid dan kompak. Verry mengatakan berbagai pembahasan dibicarakan dalam pertemuan. Salah satunya strategi pemenangan dalam menghadapi Pilkada 2024.
