PADANG–INVESTIGASI, – Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga (Dispora) Kota Padang terus mematangkan persiapan Gowes Padang Adventure yang merupakan salah satu kegiatan untuk memeriahkan Hari Jadi Kota (HJK) Padang ke-355.
Pada Kamis (25/7/2024), Dispora Kota Padang melaksanakan rapat terakhir persiapan bersama pihak-pihak terkait untuk memastikan perhelatan Gowes Padang Adventure berjalan sesuai rencana. Rapat tersebut digelar di ruang rapat kantor Dispora Kota Padang.
Kepala Dispora Kota Padang Afriadi menyebut, kegiatan Gowes Padang Adventure mengundang seluruh pesepeda yang ada di Kota Padang, luar daerah, dan bahkan dari seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Mata para peserta gowes akan dimanjakan keindahan objek-objek wisata di Kota Padang.
Sampai sejauh ini, Dispora Kota Padang mencatat sudah ratusan peserta yang mendaftar. Para peserta yang mendaftar tersebut berasal dari berbagai daerah luar Kota Padang dan Sumbar.
“Gowes Padang Adventure merupakan salah satu rangkaian memeriahkan HJK Padang ke-355. Hari ini sudah tercatat jumlah peserta lebih kurang sembilan ratus peserta, tidak hanya peserta dari dalam sumbar saja yang sudah terdaftar juga ada peserta dari luar sumbar seperti Palembang, Medan, Jambi, dan Pekanbaru,” kata Afriadi.
Dia menambahkan, untuk panjang rute diperkirakan mencapai 26 kilo meter dengan rute yang melintasi sejumlah objek wisata andalan Kota Padang.
Titik start di Youth Center – Jalan Bagindo Aziz Chan – Jalan Sudirman – Jalan Rasuna Said – Jalan Khatib Sulaiman – Jalan Juanda – Jalan S. Parman – Jalan Sumatera – Jalan Bunda Raya – Jalan Bahari – Jalan Hiu II – Jalan Hiu IV – Jalan Depan SDN 15 Padang – Belok Kiri ke Belakang Hotel Pangeran – Jalan Samudera – Jalan Batang Arau – Jembatan Kuning – Kampung Teleng – Jalan Seberang Palinggam – Jalan Seberang Padang. Kemudian, Jembatan Ganting – Jalan DR.Wahidun – Jalan Proklamasi – Jalan Sutan Syahrir – Jalan Bagindo Aziz Chan – finish di Youth Center.
Terkait rute yang akan dilewati peserta Gowes Padang Adventure tersebut sudah ditinjau langsung ke lapangan.
“Ini menjadi kebanggaan bagi kita, sebab nantinya acara kita juga dimeriahkan dari daerah lain, untuk kegiatan gowes ini dibuka untuk umum dan semua kalangan, kita menarget menjelang hari H berkisar lima ribuan peserta yang mendaftar,” terang Afriadi.
