Kalau bercerita tentang Mastilizal Aye, tak akan habis habisnya. Tidak saja aktifitasnya sebagai wakil rakyat, jauh sebelum ia duduk di Gedung Bundar Sawahan. Buktinya, mantan sopir Angkutan Kota (Angkot) teladan se Sumbar diraihnya. Atas prestasi itu, ia sekarang menjadi Ketua Organda Kota Padang. Sebelum kita melanjutkan tulisan tentang Mastilizal Aye, pecinta si kulit bundar ini. Kita renungkan sebuah pantun, tentang sosok Mastilizal Aye

Mambangun Kota Padang samo diharokkan
Semangat berjuang di lapangan hijau dalam mengolah si kulit bundar, Aye sangat memahami seluk beluk olahraga nomor satu di dunia ini. Wajar saja, ia dipercaya menjadi Ketua Askot PSSI Kota Padang. Kepercayaan diamanahkan kepadanya tak sia sia. Kompetisi puluhan tahun mati suri di Kota Padang, sekarang dihidupkan kembali. Sepakbola di Kota Bingkuang ini, kembali bergairah.
Meski, sudah duduk menjadi wakil rakyat, namun tak merobah keseharian Mastilizal Aye. Apa yang dilakoni selama ini bersama warga, tetap dijalankan. Duduk di warung, main bola di lapangan hijau, tak menghalangi kesibukannya. Bahkan, hpnya tetap sama dan tak diganti, sehingga tak memutuskan komunikasi. Dan, tak hanya membantu warga melalui Pokir, juga dari uang pribadi.
Bedanya sekarang, Mastilizal Aye lebih luas bergerak dan bisa berkoordinasi dengan eksekutif. Sehingga pengabdiannya kepada warga makin kokoh dan berkelanjutan. Wajar saja, Aye makin menancapkan pengabdiannya dan memuluskan langkah organisasi yang diamanahkan kepadanya. Dia dengan mudah menjalankan organisasi menggunakan dana Porkir dan juga merogoh kantong sendiri.
Lihat saja, sebagai Ketua Organda Kota Padang, Mastilizal Aye bersama Pemko baru baru ini melounching Koridor Trans Padang Koridor 5. Trans melewati pusat Kota Padang via Indarung, sudah dijalankan dan siap mengaspal di Kota Padang dalam melayani warga. Trans Padang siap memanjakan warga dari Padang ke Indarung. Sebuah prestasi yang luar biasa. Semua tak terlepas perannya sebagai Ketua Organda dan anggota dewan.
Tidak sampai disitu saja, juga akan menyusul Koridor 6. Jalur yang dilalui pusat Kota Padang via Kampus Unand. Ini mendapat antusias mahasiswa yang menuntut ilmu di Bukit Limau Manis itu. Tak kalah menariknya, Koridor 3 juga memanjakan warga dari Siteba menuju Air Pacah. Alhasil, pelayanan publik dari segi transportasi bisa dimaksimalkan. Begitu juga sebagai Ketua PSSI, Mastilizal Aye juga sukses dengan Liga Askotnya.
Kompetisi berjalan sukses, gairah sepakbola mulai bangkit. Kompetisi untuk mantan pemain dan legenda juga diselenggarakan. Usia 40 keatas juga bergairah dalam bertarung dilapangan hijau. Bersilaturahmi, berolahraga, bercanda dan meraih prestasi di usia senja menjadi tujuan. Intinya, lakek tangan Mastilizal Aye tak diragukan lagi. Baik sebagai ketua organisasi maupun anggota dewan. Wajar saja, warga Kota Padang berharap kader Gerindra ini, bisa mewakafkan diri untuk membangun Kota Padang kedepan. Semoga
