Pemerintah Nagari Tanjung Alai, Kecamatan X Koto Singkarak Kabupaten Solok, sangat mendukung Tentara Nasional Indonesia ( TNI ) dalam membangun Jalan Usaha Tani (JUT) sepanjang 1127 Meter yang menjadi sasaran utama dalam Program TMMD Reguler ke-112 Kodim 0309/Solok. Proses pembangunan sudah hampir rampung dikerjakan secara bersama dan sudah dirasakan manfaatnya oleh warga.
Wali Nagari Tanjung Alai Yurdam S.E., menjelaskan, kita pemerintah Nagari Tanjung Alai sangat bersyukur sekali dengan adanya pembangunan ini. Azas manfaat sangat terasa sekali bagi petani kita yang mayoritas petani sawah dan kebun, karena sebelumnya hanya berupa jalan setapak kini. Untuk itu jalan yang dibangun oleh Satgas TMMD memang sangat-sangat membantu sekali dan di harapkan oleh masyarakat” jelas Yurdam.

Dibangunnya jalan tentunya akan mempermudah petani mengangkut hasil perkebunan mereka. Pada intinya jalan tersebut di peruntukan bagi orang banyak” kata Wali Nagari
