PADANG—INVESTIGASI,- Guna menjaring kader terbaik, Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP-PKK) Kota Padang menggelar Lomba Gerakan PKK Tingkat Kota Padang tahun 2024 di Sekretariat PKK Kota Padang, Senin (19/8/2023).
Lomba ini diikuti 11 kelurahan perwakilan dari 11 kecamatan di Kota Padang.
Pj Ketua TP PKK Kota Padang, Ny. Vanny Andree Algamar menyebutkan lomba ini dilaksanakan untuk mengukur sejauh mana kemampuan kader PKK dalam memenuhi standar dan indikator yang ditentukan.
“Lomba ini bukan hanya sekadar perlombaan, Kota Padang dua tahun berturut-turut meraih juara umum, tentunya kita harus mempersiapkan dan mencari penerus,” ujarnya.
Ia menambahkan, melalui perlombaan ini akan muncul beragam inovasi yang dipresentasikan, lewat seleksi ini sebagai bentuk keseriusan dalam menjaring kader terbaik.
“Kita juga melihat apakah kader paham dengan kondisi lapangan, dan memahami inovasi yang dikemas dengan sebaik mungkin, lomba ini sebagai gambaran mengukur kemampuam kita. Berikan yang terbaik untuk mewakili Kota Padang, sehingga keberadaan PKK berdampak dan dirasakan oleh masyarakat,” imbuhnya.
Lomba ini akan berlangsung selama tiga hari, pada 19 Agustus diawali lomba ekspose Gerakan PKK, dilanjutkan pada 22 Agustus lomba kelompok dasawisma dan 23 Agustus lomba kader posyandu. —Richard
