PADANG — INVESTIGASI, Gowes Siti Nurbaya Adventure (GSNA) ke VIII siap digelar pada Minggu (5/5/2024) mendatang, ungkap Sekretaris Daerah Kota Padang Andree Algamar dalam rapat yang digelar di Rumah Dinas Wali Kota Padang, Selasa, (23/4/2024).
“Seluruh unsur harus siap untuk menyemarakkan acara. Maksimalkan semua hal di setiap rute baik itu kebersihan, pengamanan, dan hingga kenyamanan tamu,” ucapnya dalam rapat yang juga dihadiri Lantamal, Polresta, Dandempom dan seluruh OPD terkait.
Kepala Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Afriadi menyampaikan kesiapan seluruh unsur dengan tugas masing-masing telah mencapai 90 persen. Konsep GSNA tahun ini sebutnya yaitu bersepeda sambil wisata.
“Jadi peserta kita hanya gowes dan bersantai serta menikmati destinasi yang ada. Berbeda dari tahun lalu dengan peserta yang berpacu hingga finish” tuturnya.
Hingga saat ini, kata Afriadi, negara Malaysia sudah mengkonfirmasi kehadiran. Kemudian ada beberapa negara tetangga yang juga telah diundang seperti Singapura, Brunei Darussalam.
“Kita tunggu H-1 dan H-2, Insya Allah akan banyak yang datang di samping kabupaten/kota di Sumbar, kita juga undang wali kota, DPRD se-Indonesia dan sebagian sudah ada yang konfirmasi kehadirannya bersama rombongan,” ujarnya lagi.
Afriadi menyampaikan hingga hari ini sudah 10 ribu peserta yang mengonfirmasi kehadirannya. Pihaknya menargetkan 50 ribu peserta tahun ini. Sebelumnya tahun 2023 dengan kehadiran 25 ribu peserta.
“Namun, apabila berkaca pada tahun lalu, euforia masyarakat tampak begitu banyak dengan diadakannya gowes ini. Semua minta dengan rute ekstrem karena sudah biasa gowes dan kita survey lagi ke lapangan,” ujarnya.–richard
