Pada acara halal bi halal dengan jajaran Bapenda Padang. Sekaligus pada kesempatan ini, Ekos Albar memulai untuk mengucapkan salam pamit kepada seluruh personil Bapenda Kota Padang, mengingat masa baktinya sebagai Wakil Wali Kota Padang akan berakhir pada 13 Mei 2024 mendatang.
Sepertinya, Ekos sadar dengan lagu legenda minang, ‘Roda Pedati’ (hiduik ibarat roda padati, bisa diateh bisa dibawah). Lagu itu didendangkannya dengan merdu, saat acara halal bi halal dengan jajaran Pemko 16 April lalu.
“Sekaligus pada kesempatan halal bi halal ini, saya mohon pamit kepada rekan-rekan di Bapenda. Karena moment seperti ini tentu tidak terulang lagi menjelang selesainya masa jabatan saya sebagai Wakil Wali Kota Padang, pertengahan 13 Mei 2024 mendatang. Sampaikan salam maaf dan hormat saya untuk keluarga Bapak/Ibu semua. Semoga silaturrahmi kita tetap terjaga sepanjang masa,” tutur Ekos Albar.–richard
