PADANG, INVESTIGASI_Guru Pahlawan Tanpa Tanda Jasa. Kata patriotik itu, melekat pada diri Mastilizal Aye, Ketua Fraksi DPRD Kota Padang. Bagi Mastilizal Aye, tak akan terbalas jasa guru, selagi ilmu itu menjadi pedoman dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Wajar saja, Mastilizal Aye tak kuasa menahan air mata, saat sejumlah guru honorer yang tergabung dalam Forum Guru Lulus Passing Grade (FGLPG) mengadukan nasibnya ke kantor DPRD Padang.
Dengan nada terhisak Aye, bertekat memperjuangkan agar guru honor tetap dipertahankan untuk tahun 2023. Karena, ada lebih kurang 3000 guru honor yang mengajar di SD, SMP di Kota Padang. Meski, Menpan RB mengatakan, tak ada lagi guru honor tahun 2023, tapi ia bersama rekan rekan di DPRD tetap berjuang agar bisa dipertahankan.

“Bukan ibuk ibuk yang membuat kami bersikeras mempertahankan guru honorer, tapi pengabdian yang tulus itulah, kami terus berjuang,” kata Aye yang juga Sekretaris DPC Partai Gerinda Padang, sembari mengatakan, kami DPRD Kota Padang akan maju terus memperjuangkan nasib guru honor, meski Kemenpan mengatakan, tak ada lagi guru honor 2023.
Ketua Askot PSSI Kota Padang ini, memang sensitif terhadap nasib guru honor. Apapun akan dilakukan demi mempertahankan guru honor itu. Tidak saja, berjuang terhadap guru honor, Aye juga sangat peduli dengan berbagai kegiatan yang bersifat positif. Buktinya, saat memperingati HUT RI ke 77 kemaren, Aye memberikan bantuan untuk kegiatan HUT RI tersebut.

Jumlah bantuan diberikan bervariasi pada setiap daerah yang merayakan HUT RI itu. Antara Rp1 juta dan Rp3 juta untuk daerah yang didatanginya. Baik di Tanjung Berok (Ulak Karang Selatan), Gurun Laweh, Berok Gunung Pangilun, Tabing Banda Gadang dan lain lain. Menariknya, dibeberapa tempat tak bisa dikunjungi, bantuan tetap diberikan Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Kota Padang itu. NV
