Jhon Bass mangakui, pernah memberikan warna musik dalam sajumlah lagu sebelum diproduksi. Dahulu zamannya produser. Seorang panyanyi, tidak akan dikenal, jika penyanyi tidak dipinang produser. Dan, lagunyo dipipulerkan lewat kaset atau CD. Disini, artis baru bisa dapek royalty dari produser. Sementara hasil penjualan kaset, CD menjadi kewenangan produser.
Ia juga merasa heran, banyak juga artis lokal nasibnya tidak begitu baik. Tentu, ini perlu dievaluasi. Seharusnya, perlu manajemen maupun manajer yang profesional. Apalagi, penyanyi minang, sudah bergeser. Orang lebih suka memutar video/lagu via channel Youtube. Otomatis kesempatan ini harus dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh para panyanyi.
Dan, diharapkan lebih berkualitas dan profesional. Kalau bisa, buat team work. Didalamnya, ada pengarah, pencipta lagu, videografi, studio maupun pemusik yang mumpuni. Ditambah, perancang busana, ahli editing, programer berbasis online dan lain sebagainya. Hasil pendapatan Youtube/Google Adsense dibagi sabagaimana mestinya. Ingat, peluang besar, kini sudah terbuka bagi panyanyi.
