PADANG, INVESTIGASI_Siapa yang tidak kenal tokoh sepak bola Sumatera Barat Verry Mulyadi. Ia selalu hadir dan peduli membangun dunia olahraga Sumatera Barat.
Kali ini Verry Mulyadi memotivasi punggawa SSB Tunas Patriot Kota Padang, dalam mengikuti Turnamen Garuda Anak Nusantara U-12 Tahun 2022 yang dilaksanakan di Stadion Jakabaring Kota Palembang 18-20 November mendatang.
Hadirnya Verry Mulyadi di tengah-tengah pesepak bola muda berbakat Ranah Minang pada Senin (7/11/2022) di Lapangan Sepak Bola Wirabraja Tarandam, membuat semangat mereka berkobar untuk mengharumkan bendera Tuah Sakato di pentas sepakbola Tanah Air.
“Kunci dari kesuksesan anak-anak semua dalam menjalani sepakbola ini adalah membentuk karakter diri dan kedisiplinan. Jika dua hal tersebut sudah kalian dapatkan, maka bonus yang kalian akan dapatkan nantinya akan banyak didapat,” ucap Verry Mulyadi dalam arahannya.
Mantan Exco PSSI Pusat 2015-2020 ini menuturkan, bonus yang didapatkan jika dua hal ini sudah terpatri dalam diri pemain usia belia ini adalah, bakal menjadi pesepakbola profesional. Disamping itu juga bisa berkarir di dunia kemiliteran maupun menjadi pegawai perbankan dan institusi lainnya.
“Tak sedikit contoh anak-anak pesepakbola muda ini dahulunya serius berlatih, sekarang ini telah sukses di bidang masing-masing. Baik itu menjadi pesepakbola profesional yang main di Liga 1 sampai Liga 2, menjadi Anggota TNI, Anggota Polri, bahkan berkarir menjadi pegawai bank,” sebutnya.
Lebih lanjut Verry menyebut, kesuksesan para pesepakbola Tanah Air khususnya yang meniti karir di kancah sepakbola nasional, karena mereka memang tekun dalam berlatih dengan menambah porsi latihan mereka.
Setelah mereka latihan reguler, mereka juga melakukan latihan secara personal.
Sebagai contoh pemain muda semisal Leo Guntara dan Rendi Oskario. Mereka latihan tak mengenal waktu. Malahan mereka sebelum latihan reguler, mereka melakukan pemanasan secara personal seperti dribling, jugling, dan lainnya.
“Kalau hanya mengikuti jadwal latihan reguler, akan kurang kemampuan kalian. Bapak meminta kalian rajin latihan, jangan hanya tujuannya menjadi pemain bola saja, tapi raih bonus didapat kemudian hari,” pungkasnya. Herman Jetar
