PADANG–INVESTIGASI, Pengurus masjid agar melahirkan beragam inovasi sehingga membuat anak- anak senang ketika berada di masjid.
“Pengurus masjid harus inovatif, masjid yang hebat bukan hanya dari fisik tetapi juga dari segi fasilitas dan pelayanan,” kata Wawako Padang Maigus Nasir, saat membuka sosialisasi masjid ramah anak di Ruangan Abu Bakar Jaar, Kamis (13/3/2025).
Ia menambahkan, Pemerintah Kota Padang sangat serius terhadap pembinaan anak- anak, salah satunya melalui program unggulan yaitu smart surau, menjadikan masjid atau rumah ibadah menjadi tempat menarik yang aman dan nyaman.
“Salah satu hal yang berperan penting dalam mewujudkan masjid ramah anak ialah manajemen masjid dan menentukan indikator untuk menetapkan bahwa masjid tersebut ramah anak. Kita ingin mencari apa yang menjadi penyebab anak enggan ke masjid dan apa yang dibutuhkan anak ketika di masjid,” sebutnya.
Dijelaskannya, hadirnya program smart surau akan mendukung infrastruktur pembelajaran berbasis digital di Kota Padang, seperti menghadirkan fasilitas digital di masjid, akses WiFi gratis, serta area belajar dan bermain bagi anak-anak.
“Bagaimana peran orangtua sangat penting dimulai dari lingkungan di rumah, sekolah, masjid dan lingkungan sekitar. Pemko Padang berkomitmen bagaimana anak terjamin sekolahnya, salah satunya dengan LKS dan seragam gratis,” tutupnya.
Sementara itu Kepala Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak, Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana, Eri Sendjaya mengatakan selama tahun 2024 terjadi 78 kasus kekerasan terhadap anak, baik kekerasan fisik, psikis atau seksual yang terjadi di lingkungan terdekat.
“Menciptakan masjid ramah anak sekaligus mengoptimalkan fungsi masjid sebagai alternatif tempat anak berkumpul itu membutuhkan kesadaran. Dengan smart surau, bersinergi bersama mewujudkan masjid ramah anak,” tutupnya.
