Meski, sudah masuk tahap pengadaan tanah. Bahkan, pusat mengapresiasi cepat tanggapnya Pemrov Sumbar, namun proyek Fly over Sitinjau Lauik, masih digoyang pihak tertentu. Padahal, sudah dua kali mengalami kegagalan dan masih ada niat untuk menggagalkan lagi
Sementara, Flyover Sitinjau Lauik yang menghubungkan Kota Padang dan Kabupaten Solok, sangat diharapkan. Malah, menjadi penantian panjang dan berharap penantian itu bisa terwujud. Pembahasan panjang berbagai kalangan pun menyertai terwujudnya flyover itu. Dan, sekarang sudah masuk tahap pengadaan tanah.
Bentuk Kepedulian tinggi terhadap infrastruktur Sumbar, termasuk flyover, media ini sering melakukan diskusi dengan berbagai pihak. Khusus untuk flyover Sitinjau Lauik ini, sudah pernah dibahas Channel Investigasi TV bersama mantan Wakil Gubernur Sumbar, Nasrul Abit.
Pergerakan sudah dimulai dengan ada desain geometrinya. Dalam pembahasan itu, Nasrul Abit menyebutkan, flyover Panorama 1 Sitinjau Lauik sepanjang 2,60 Km diperkirakan menelan dana Rp1,363, itu sudah termasuk study kelayakan, detail engeneering desain dan Amdal
Sedangkan, Flyover Panorama 2 sepanjang 3,87 Km, diperkirakan menelan anggaran Rp2.05i Triliun. Kendala pekerjaan, masih tersangkut izin kawasan dari Kementarian Lingkungan Hidup. Kenapa, Nasrul Abit saat itu, berupaya keras mewujudkan flyover, jawabnya, karena ini sangat urgen sekali. Alasannya, daerah Sitinjau Lauik merupakan daerah rawan kecelakaaan.
Kenapa flyover menjadi solusi, selama priode 2016-2020, terjadi sebanyak 50 kecelakaan, meninggal 9 orang, luka ringan 111 (Berdasarkan data Polresta Padang). Banyak kendaraan yang lepas kendali (out of control) terutama angkutan berat (truk) 15. Hampir setiap hari kendaraan berat terjadi kegagalan mendaki, karena tanjakan terjal panjang dan curam.
Ditambah lagi, radius tikungan sempit dan terjal. Lagipula, Sitinjau Lauik, merupakan jalur logistik lintas Tengah Sumatera. Itupun belum termasuk data kecelakaan 2020 – 2024. Dengan kondisi jalan seperti itu, satu satunya jalan membangun flyover. Memang, pembangunan flyover ini, pernah dibatalkan pada Musyawarah Rencana Pembangunan (Musrenbang) Nasional, karena besarnya biaya.
Saat itu, solusinya Pemrov Sumbar akan melakukan pelebaran pada arah jurang dengan pemasangan beton. Dan, cara ini tak menjadi solusi, sebab tak mampu menahan longsor yang menjadi hancaman pengendara melewati lokasi itu. Makanya, terus digenjot dan dirayu pusat agar flyover bisa terwujud. Termasuk perjuangan keras Andre Rosiade melobi pusat
Tak menyebutkan nama, masing masing pihak sudah bekerja keras untuk mewujudkan flyover. Bahkan, harapan itu, sudah terlihat didepan mata. Dan, setelah pengadaan tanah akan dilakukan pekerjaan fisik. Namun, ketika akan dimulai malah kembali digoyang. Entah sebagai pribadi atau kader partai, menjadikan banjir alasan pembatalan flyover. Kok, bisa menghubungkan banjir di Indarung dengan flyover. Apakah itu, kajian penulis yang mengaku seorang insinyur. Entahlah
