Salam literasi
Pertama- tama kami mengucapkan terimakasih atas partisipasi dan dukungan kita semua atas keberhasilan The 2nd International Minangkabau Literacy Festival ( IMLF).
Festival ini adalah festival literasi terbesar di Indonesia karena diikuti 17 negara. Lebih ribuan orang Penulis, Seniman, Sastrawan, Penyair, Artis , Peneliti , Guru, Akademisi , Mahasiswa dan penikmat seni terlibat dalam even ini.
Beragam seni hadir memanjakan penonton di beberapa lokasi seperti di Univ Negeri Padang, dan Batusangkar. Welcome dinner di istana gubernur Sumatera Barat, Seminar di Aula Bank Indonesia , di PPSDM Kemendagri dan Gedung Nasional Batusangkar
Kegiatan di Taman Budaya Sumbar menampilkan pameran buku, pameran seni rupa khusus lukisan, fotografi , kriya dan juga melibatkan bazar UMKM di kota Padang. Dan ini tentu tidak saja dinikmati delegasi tetapi juga dinikmati seluruh lapisan masyarakat di Padang dan sekitarnya.
Lebih 30 pelukis dari dalam dan luar negeri ikut memeriahkan pameran lukisan dan foto seperti China, Malaysia, India dan Indonesia sendiri. Tercatat nama- nama yang memang kuat di dunia lukis dan fotografi hadir dalam pameran ini.
Yang unik adalah lukisan kaligrafi China Muslim Yusuf Liu Baojun atau Prof Hashim Yaacob Malaysia yang kental dengan lukisan wayangan atau Dr Reshma Ramesh dengan karya foto artistiknya termasuk pelopor lukisan artifisial Denny JA ikut memamerkan lima lukisan artifisialnya .
Pameran ini bukan hanya sekedar memanjakan mata dan menyentuh perasaan kita ketika melihat perpaduan warna gelap dan terang bergradasi yang meliputi titik, garis, bidang, bentuk, tekstur dalam dua dimensi tetapi juga mempertajam literasi kita tentang kesenirupaan, tentang sejarah bangsa, tentang keindahan alam , tentang kritikan atas ketidak adilan dan lain sebagainya selama seminggu sejak tanggal 8- 15 Mei 2024.
Selain memanjakan mata, menambah wawasan perbukuan, penonton juga bisa menikmati kuliner sederhana di area sekeliling pameran yang disediakan panitia sambil mendengar dan menyaksikan pembacaan puisi dan tarian tradisional.
Kita semua juga menyaksikan keindahan istana Pagaruyung, desa Pariangan, desa terindah di dunia dan pacu jawi yang memberikan kesan luar biasa.
Pada malam terakhir di Batusangkar pada acara puncak parade puisi dan pertunjukan seni yang spektakuler dari delegasi IMLF tak bisa kita selesaikan dengan sempurna. Tiba-tiba longsor membuat kami bersedih. Kami panik sebetulnya, tapi berusaha tenang. Namun ketika ada kabar bencana sudah mengambil nyawa, dengan cepat kami menghentikan pertunjukan. ( hingga tulisan ini dibuat tgl 15 mei terinfo lebih 50 orang meninggal)
Kesan tak profesional muncul di tengah kegalauan kami yang mengetahui datangnya bencana. Ada yang marah, banyak yang kecewa karena tidak tampil sesuai harapan.
Dua Pertunjukan IMLF Batal
Kesedihan menyeliputi hati kita semua. Bencana yang tiba-tiba.
Ini sungguh- sungguh situasi tidak normal.
Bahkan panggung yang disiapkan walikota Padang Panjang dan Kepala Balai Pelestarian Kebudayaan pada hari terakhir tanggal 12 itu batal karena jalan yang tertutup menuju Padang. Meski kita semua sudah mencari jalan berputar lewat Sawahlunto. Tetapi bencana ternyata ada dimana- mana. Kita terjebak dalam macet yang panjang. Berjam-jam dalam ruang sempit, kaki yang kesemutan, dalam gelap, lapar dan haus.
Kami bersyukur di setiap bus yang ada selalu kita , nasing-masing delegasi masih bisa bergembira menghibur diri di tengah ujian perjalanan yng melelahkan. Berkisar antara 20- 27 jam masing-masing bus.
Terimakasih banyak atas dukungan dan pengertian kalian semua.
Semoga kita bisa mengambil hikmah atas peristiwa ini. Kita semakin yakin ketika Allah berkehendak tak seorang pun yang bisa melawannya.
