PADANG–INVESTIGASI
Mengambil lokasi start di Jalan Samudra, Pantai Purus Padang, fun walk ini secara resmi dilepas oleh Ketua Umum Gerakan Ekonomi dan Budaya Minangkabau (Gebu Minang), Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO), bersama Wali Kota Padang Fadly Amran dan Wakil Wali Kota Padang Maigus Nasir.
Fadly Amran mengungkapkan bahwa event ini adalah sinergi berbagai pihak, yang sejalan dengan visi Pemerintah Kota Padang yakni menggerakkan segala potensi untuk mewujudkan Kota Padang sebagai kota sehat dan kota pintar (smart city), menuju kota maju dan sejahtera.
“Event ini merupakan kolaborasi antara Pemerintah Kota Padang bersama Gebu Minang, Ikatan Alumni SMA Negeri 3 Padang (Ikasmantri), dan Ikatan Alumni Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia (IAPPI),” sebut Fadly Amran yang juga Ketua DPW Gebu Minang Sumbar.
“Ke depan kita akan terus menggerakan kegiatan-kegiatan seperti ini. Padang harus menjadi ibu kota sport tourism baru di Indonesia. Karena kita punya semua yang dibutuhkan untuk menjadi new icon of Indonesia Sport Tourism. Alam yang indah, hospitality dan masyarakatnya yang gemar berolahraga,” tambah Fadly Amran. –rchrd
