PADANG– INVESTIGASI, Setelah menunggu sekian lama, jalan menuju Kampung Kandang Dama Kelurahan Bungus Timur yang sebelumnya belum layak untuk dilalui, kini akhirnya mulai tersentuh pembangunan.
Jalan yang berada di RT 04 RW 06, Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung ini telah mendapatkan program Padat Karya Infrastruktur tahun 2023 dari Pemerintah Kota Padang melalui Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Perindustrian (Disnakerin) Kota Padang.
Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Padang Andree Algamar berharap jalan yang telah selesai dibangun ini dapat dipelihara dan dijaga dengan baik.
Pemerintah Kota Padang mengupayakan agar jalan ini diteruskan dengan pengecoran atau pengaspalan.
“Kami bangga dengan masyarakat Kampung Kandang Dama yang telah membuka jalan baru ini. Kami berharap dengan adanya jalan baru ini dapat membantu meningkatkan perekonomian dan aksesibilitas masyarakat,” ucap Andree Algamar sewaktu meninjau jalan baru ini, Minggu (30/6/2024).
Sementara itu, Kepala Disnakerin Kota Padang Ferry Erviyan Rinaldy mengatakan, program Padat Karya berupa pembukaan jalan baru ini telah dilaksanakan dari 3-13 Juni 2024 lalu.
Panjang jalan baru ini sekitar 450 meter dengan lebar sekitar 4 meter.
“Kegiatan Padat Karya ini bertujuan untuk memperluas akses masyarakat terhadap lapangan kerja, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat,” ucapnya.
Ketua LPM Bungus Timur Arpendi mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Pemerintah Kota Padang yang telah melakukan kegiatan padat karya infrastruktur untuk jalan Kampung Dama ini.
“Kampung Dama ini didiami oleh masyarakat sekitar 55 Kepala Keluarga (KK) dengan jumlah warga sekitar 175 orang. Mata pencaharian utama masyarakat disini adalah bertani dan berkebun. Dengan adanya jalan baru ini maka sangat membantu masyarakat kami untuk aktivitas sehari-hari,” ucapnya.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Pj. Wali Kota Padang juga menampung aspirasi masyarakat Kampung Dama. Diantaranya meminta pengecoran atau pengaspalan jalan yang baru selesai dibangun, meminta lampu penerangan jalan, perbaikan jembatan, dan bantuan untuk Musala Waitul Mukminin.
Turut hadir mendampingi Pj. Wali Kota Padang dalam kesempatan ini, Pj. Sekretaris Daerah Kota Padang Yosefriawan, Pj. Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK Ny. Vanny Andree Algamar, Pj. Ketua DWP Netti Yosefriawan, dan pimpinan OPD di lingkungan Pemerintah Kota Padang. —Richard
